Which blinds are best for bathrooms?

Accepted Answer

Waterproof PVC roller blinds, faux-wood Venetians and perfect-fit blinds are the three we fit most often in Kent bathrooms. All three handle steam without warping, mould-spotting or fabric sag.

Will the blind warp from the steam?

Accepted Answer

Not the ranges we recommend. Real timber Venetians swell in humid bathrooms and we won't fit them there. Faux-wood and PVC are designed for wet rooms and carry the manufacturer's moisture warranty.

Do you fit waterproof shutters in bathrooms?

Accepted Answer

Yes — our waterproof shutter range (ABS or treated hardwood) is purpose-built for bathrooms and en-suites. They give the architectural shutter look without the timber-swelling risk.

Can blinds be fitted into tiled window recesses?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We use specialist masonry fixings and bring tile-safe drill bits to every install. We've fitted blinds into freshly-tiled recesses across hundreds of Kent bathrooms without cracking a single tile.

Are they easy to clean?

Accepted Answer

Faux-wood and PVC wipe clean with a damp cloth. Perfect-fit blinds clip out of the frame for deeper cleaning. We'll show you how at handover.
