Yes — every blind we fit is compliant with BS EN 13120 (the UK child-safety standard). For nurseries and children's bedrooms we recommend cordless or motorised operation, which we fit as standard on most ranges.
Standard blackout fabric blocks the fabric area, but light leaks around the edges. For shift workers and light sleepers in Kent we recommend either a side-channel cassette blackout system or solid plantation shutters — both eliminate the edge gap.
