Do motorised blinds need mains wiring or will battery packs really last?

For most retrofit jobs battery is perfectly sensible — a single charge lasts 12–18 months on a bedroom or living-room drop with normal daily use. We only recommend hard-wired 24V when the window is genuinely inaccessible (high conservatory roofs, stairwell galleries) or during a full renovation when the wiring can go in behind plaster before decoration.

What's the warranty on the install?

5 years on the installation work and a lifetime guarantee on the product itself for plantation shutters. Blinds carry the manufacturer's warranty plus our 5-year install warranty.

What happens if a window measurement is wrong after fit?

We re-measure and re-order at our cost. Our 5-year install warranty covers this from the day we leave site.

Are Day & Night blinds blackout?

The standard fabrics are dim-out — closed they reduce light heavily but a small amount comes through the sheer band. Blackout-stripe ranges are available where total dark-out is needed.
