Do you fit blinds and shutters in splay and box bays?

Yes — both are part of standard bay configurations. Splay bays usually need 3 or 5 panels joined at the angle; square/box bays use 4 panels with corner posts. We measure each on-site before quoting.

Can wooden blinds be fitted to UPVC windows without drilling?

Yes — perfect-fit frames clip into the bead of the UPVC unit with no drilling, ideal for newer Hythe properties and tilt-and-turn windows.

Do wooden blinds need much maintenance?

Very little — a soft brush or feather duster every few weeks and a damp cloth on the slats once a year is all most Hythe installs ever need.

Will real wood warp in a sunny window?

FSC basswood is very stable, but for very humid rooms (en-suites, kitchens with steam) we recommend faux wood instead.
