We use FSC-sourced basswood for its strength-to-weight ratio. That keeps the blinds light enough to operate smoothly even on wide windows, and stops the slats bowing over time.
Painted whites and pale greys remain our most popular options, but rich walnut and oak stains have grown sharply with the rise of sage-green and dark-blue interior schemes.
