Bi-fold doors: per-pane, or nothing across the opening

Perfect-fit per pane

A slim frame clips into the glazing beading of each leaf and holds a pleated or Venetian blind flat against the glass. It folds with the door, adds almost no depth and needs no drilling.

This is what we fit on the large majority of Kent bi-fold installations.

Track systems across the opening

Where you want the softer look of fabric across the whole wall, a vertical or panel track can stack to one side — provided there is enough wall return to take the stack. On a four or five-leaf run that stack is substantial and needs planning at survey.

Heat, glare and the evening

Bi-fold walls are usually south or west facing. A solar-screen or reflective pleated fabric handles summer gain; a dimout keeps the room private after dark when the glass turns into a mirror from the inside and a window from the outside.
